best soups ever....

This place is absolutely tiny on the inside, very limited seating. We finally found a small table outside on the vinyl enclosed patio with 2 very small tables to sit at with the temps in the teens outside. The foot was very good, I cannot complain about that. We watched the table next to us sit forever after they finished their food, 5 teenagers, just chatting. The area is very small, we were already all touching elbows with my two children and wife at the table with me, the area was so small we had to have the other table get up so we could get to our table. About 1/2 way though our meal an employee brings another order of food and starts placing it on our table and asks if its okay if she sear another couple at our table with us. Well, you're putting their food down already, how the hell can we say no? We promptly finished our food and left. Food: excellent, space and service: not so much.

This is the closest hole in the wall place you can find on the resort. Feels like home here (Texas). The breakfast burrito is a solid choice and the sausage gravy is thick, full of sausage, and home made goodness.Come here, take your time, and eat slow.

Plastic utensils, food served in plastic bowls- one time use plastic folks, really? Food served like slop, plastic water cups? Soup Bowl needs to elevate just a little and catch up with what’s happening on the planet and how decisions little businesses make impact the planet in a big way... Uh.... hello?

It was a great little place if you are lookin for a happy hour IPA. I did not eat there, but the food looked good and the staff was very friendly.

Best place to eat or drink or both on the mountain! The staff is awesomely friendly and makes sure you have exactly what you want. They have beer and wine and the best sandwiches and soups on the planet! The menu is superb and the ingredients are so so fresh! Definitely come by before, during a break, or after a ski or mountain bike session and you will be blown away! Bravo Woody and Jodi and Bryce!

Worst place in winter park. Service is slow. Employees are incredibly rude. We waited for our food for 45 minutes. And so did other guests. And the employees don’t even know how to do refunds if you’re not willing to wait 45 minutes for a cup of soup. They only have 6 soup options....which you can’t even read off of the sign and they aren’t all available. Employees don’t even know what options they have and don’t have. Incredible waste of time.

Food was good, but it was really slow to get the food.

Came for breakfast on a slow summer day. Very nice little place with good food and friendly staff. Food was great but the cinimon roll was a bit dried out. Otherwise perfect.

It was a very cold day so my wife and I were pretty happy to find a soup place. They gave us some sample from 1 of the soup that we ended up getting. Once they put the cold rice in the soup it was not hot anymore. It was luke warm. Then we had to wait extra time for our burgers because they had to thaw it. ( the waiter told us about it) Eventually we got the burgers and I wish we never lifted the bun. The meet looked like it was some leftover meat collected from 4-5 different burgers. (I know it wasn't. It was cut in order to have the meat cook throughly) it just did not look appetizing.

Wow what a great selection of home made soups. My brother and I had the split pea and ham. Tomato soup tomorrow ! Awesome. Half sandwiches turkey. And I had chicken salad. Both were great.

Small little restaurant with tight seating. Staff are not hospitable or helpful. Service is very slow. My family was served and almost done with their meal and mine was still not done so I cancelled my dish. And my daughter ordered the kiddies meal and did not get her side.The breakfast burrito was good and so was the biscuit and gravy.

Best Food At Winter Park Resort!

This is an order at the counter restaurant specializing in soups and salads. The employees bring The food to your table. The green chicken chili was awesome! I could eat that everyday of the week. The salad was good too.

The food at this location is very good. If you're anywhere near the Winter Park Resort, I definitely recommend stopping here. I believe that the best sandwich is the Never Summer. The (non-alcoholic) drink menu is a bit scarce and service could be a bit faster, but overall, this is a staple of Winter Park.

The service is incredibly slow and the employees are rude. The employees roll their eyes as you order and they only have a few soup options. We ordered our food and didn’t receive our food for 45 minutes and the order was wrong. I still don’t understand how it takes 45 minutes to get a soup. While we waited for our food, they served other customers THE SAME FOOD WE ORDERED because we were a group. They don’t deserve to be in business. And we were not the only ones. Any new customers whom the register woman didn’t know were forced to wait while customers that were familiar were served first...with the same food.

The soups here are amazing, I love the philly cheesesteak soup, any of the sweet potato based ones, the bratwurst, the cheeseburger, they're all really good. I spend quite a bit of time in the Winter Park Village and this is one of the best places for lunch.

I had both breakfast and lunch (two separate days) here and it was great! The breakfast bowl is MORE than enough to fill a hungry stomach about to set off on a hike. The sweet potato kale corn chowder was excellent. I'm set on trying to find a similar recipe for home now. The staff was extremely friendly (let us come in early for breakfast instead of sitting outside waiting) and allowed samples of any of the soups. I highly recommend this place.

Breakfast burritos will fill you up and you can skip lunch.

Breakfast burritos are HUGE and delicious. They take a long time to prepare though, so be wary if you are in a rush.

Great place to refuel after a long day of skiing! Had the Never Summer sandwich accompanied by the green chili soup--both delicious. Staff was friendly.

The hours on Google say that they open at 0730 we got there at 0745 and they were closed. I'm guessing because it's the summer season their hours are different but they need to be updated online. They also didn't have their hours posted on their door that we saw.

Had the Green Chili Soup which was good. However, service here was very slow on a weekday for lunch. 20 minute wait to just get a bowl of soup...understaffed.

Great tasty variety of soups! Discovered this place with my husband and we loved both orders: mushrooms soup and beef chili. Today I brought my mom and we are enjoying delicious two new soups: chicken green chili and carrot ginger! Nice friendly place! Thank you for a great experience!

One of only 2 good spots for breakfast in all of the Winter Park Village. It does tend toward the hippy-tree-hugger types as one of our party found out when they ordered French Toast, which came covered in oats. Service and food were really good though!

Ate the Omelette w/Chorizo, onions and mushrooms, hash brown potatoes and Rye marbled toast, small OJ and small coffee and it was very very good! Cost wasn't bad either since it was a resort!

The staff and service here is amazing. 5 star place to get cozy and enjoy good beer and food. Very convenient and affordable.

Very small and cramped inside . Oor orders for messed up so ended up waiting 30 minutes for remakes .. food was ok but not worth the $$ spent .

Food was good, but check your receipt closely. They charged my mom for an employee's meal, then when my stepdad questioned the price, the cashier quickly said it was right without even looking. My stepdad questioned further & got a copy of his receipt and saw a charge for an employee's meal. Makes me wonder how much that happens where people don't question it because they assume it's just that expensive due to it being a nice resort area.
